Artist's Comments

There are five songs on these pages. I've been listening to them on repeat since Sunday. Help me.

Micron pens, koscher salt and watercolor on tinted sketchbook paper.

Burtonesque - I take that compliment especially close to heart. It must be striped stockings, and also maybe the sharp silhouettes - scissors and the rest. Thank you very much for favoriting it.

It's really more the way my humid living quarter approaches watercolor - the paper was damp from the humidity, so half of this is a (as a decrepit watercolor teacher once told a long time ago in high school) "happy accident." But thank you - the artist and the humidity are glad to know you approve of their collaboration!

Ooh, yay! They are performing in NY some time very very soon, and I'm worried I'll miss it. I am also toying with the idea of sending this to them - they are fond of fanart.

Can you tell which songs these are

I actually haven't listened to Dresden Dolls, but I've known about them for awhile. I just haven't gotten around to listening to them lol What are some good songs?

The sketches are really pretty though :D Very whimsical
:iconharu-de-meziere:
The entire Dresden Dolls cd is amazing. I guess if I had to choose, it would be Half-Jack, Coin-operated Boy, Girl Anachronism, God Day, Missed Me...ok I'm listing the whole cd. I only got their second and newest album, Yes, Virginia, yesterday, but so far I really like Sex Changes, My Alcoholic Friends and Sing.
